Migration, Push and Pull Factors

Today we made a poster about Migration about pull and push factors of migration. We had some help from Trace and I liked how we had to  move a word by pushing and pulling. If i could migrate anywhere in the world, I would move to Australia because I would like to see all the different creatures in Australia.  

Netball

On Thursday we played netball and it was our last session.We learned to shoot by bending our knees and we had to put our right hand on the side and our left hand  the bottom. Then we had to flick our wrist. We also learned to do chest passing. We have been having lots of fun learning how to play netball. We had lots of help from Merrin, our netball coach. She told us all the things were so pose to do in netball.

Sports drinks

Today my group read kiwi kids news about sports drink are bad for kids because they have sugar in the sports drinks. We should drink water intend of sports drinks because the drinks have lots of sugar in it. Water is really good for you because it has no sugar and the people that made the drinks was keeping it a secret

On Wednesday our school played with John and Lucien. There were lots of drums and they came to teach us to play the drums. Then we were playing and it so loud that the ground was shaking and my hands were really tied.

Duffy Theatre

Duffy Theatre

On Monday Duffy Theatre came to our school and The charters were Uncle Bingo, Rosie, and Duffy. Uncle Bingo played as Duffy's Uncle and did not like reading. Duffy played as the kings of books and tried to help Uncle bingo read books. Rosie was Duffy's next door neighbour and she gave a gift to Uncle Bingo but Uncle Bingo did not know that there was a book in side until he was in the plane and then he read it and it was about ballerinas. Then when he was playing rugby on the grand finals he all ways got tackled and then  he remembered about the ballerina book and he was doing ballerina on the field. Then he got a try by reading a book and did the actions from the book and it was really funny. The actions were really funny and I loved it and it was really great. We sang lots of songs at the Duffy Theatre and all the songs were great.
