Harris Burdick Pictures

Today for writing we got showed photos of Harris Burdick pictures, we had to choose 3 photos than write a Narrative about the photo. This was made by Gozan and I, then Gozan and I had to choose 3 pictures and we did 1 and a half of writing.

Writing

Today for writing we had to write a story about the pictures, by Harris Burdick and we were trying to practice our writing and for the first one I had to do and it was the mad witch trying to scare away kids. The next slide Gozan had to and it was about a boy named George who had a great talent by singing at church and school. The last I did with the help with Gozan and story was about a family who went on a trip in a forest and found some kind of lizard dragon.

Language Features

Today I just finished doing my DLO it has some information about the language features , Mrs Naicker set this task for us so we know what it means. We did another task about language features, we had to read a story and see what language features it has.

Today we had to write a story about a sentence that we chose from spin bar my one was about a myth gorilla that turned 20 in one day. At the button of the page its a photo the gorilla that Thomas had found and it has a lot of facts about it. Do UFOs/Aliens Exist? Report

Introduction

UFOs are real because there been sites of weather balloons that have been Found everywhere. Everybody is allowed to be there if you are not a part of it they have been hiding staff that nobody knows. There have been Pictures and videos of UFOs and no Pictures of Aliens.

UFO Sightings

There have been loads of UFO sightings but Roswell crash is one of the best evidence of UFO. They didn’t find any Aliens and only found parts of the UFO. There have been rock statues of something nobody knows where the rock statues come from but they think that aliens made it. They also found a weather balloon when the crashed happened and the crash was in New Mexico.

Area 51

Area 51 is a Military base they secret staff about aliens and say if you go pass the line a sniper will shoot you. They probably have pieces of  UFOs and have aliens because where Area 51 Military base there have been some sightings there. They have down test on animals and other living things that exist.

Proof

People think that this picture shows one of the hardest metal in the world and they think that this piece is from a alien ship or one of our space. They didn’t grab it because they didn’t know what it 

would do.

This is my DLO about if UFOs exist its, it has all the information about where sightings where of the UFOs. My last paragraph is about where this metal come from they think that it is one of the hardest metal in the world. They don't know where this metal come from and think that the metal come from a UFO.

It was a cold winter afternoon, we went on a hunt for monsters and we were all running in the long grass. We ran past an old farm and some people didn't care and just talked, while some people ran into the forest.

This is my narrative, We had to look at this picture up top and we had think of 8 ideas that we had to write a narrative about the picture.

   

Pumpkin Story

Pumpkin Story

On one really hot day Kane felt like some pumpkin soup, so his dad dug up the soil and his dad felt like some pumpkin soup as well. So they dug crops out of the way to plant the seeds so they dug and dug.

Until finally they dug a really big hole and so he put on the gloves, so they started to plant the seeds. Now they covered the seed with the soil and now they had to wait for the pumpkin seed to grow.

So some months later his pumpkin grew and the seeds looked like some yellow flowers now. But they still needed to wait for the flowers to look like pumpkins, they probably need 2 months for the pumpkins to grow.

Then the flowers started to grow into pumpkins, now finally the pumpkins as grown and now we can finally pick them. So they picked them and Kane’s dad started to cut the pumpkins in half and they could finally make some pumpkin soup.  

This is my pumpkin story and it was kind of like describe the scene but we had 5 photo's of a boy planting the scene and waiting for it to grow and make pumpkin soup.

Kayak Trip

Kayak Trip

Mr Willand Mrs Will went out to a river to lake so they got their kayaks off the roof and we put them in the lake until finally we flipped over right under the bridge. So we finally flipped the boats back over.

we jumped in and we had to get the water out as well and so we started to kayak back to shore and we finally got back tipped the water out. We put the kayaks out into the water and we kayaked around for a little while.

We were kayaking back to shore than we hit a rock and started to float away and we kayaked back slow so we didn’t hit no more rocks. We finally got back and picked the kayaks and put them on the top of the roof.

This is my kayak trip of Mr Willand and Mrs Will did when they went on a trip to the lake they did a lot of things like there kayak flipped over and a lot of other stuff

T	Finding Nemo:
O	In this story is Nemo, Nemos Dad, Dory, Nemo's friends, Bruce the shark and his Gang, the Diver, the Dentist, the Girl, the Fish in the tank, the Seagulls and the Pelican.
P	This story is about a fish named Nemo. He is going for his first day of school when his schoolmates dare him to go to the boat when a diver comes out and grabs Nemo.
E	Nemo wakes up in a fish tank with the other fish that try to help him get out of the tank and back to his dad. At the same time though, the dad has found a fish named Dory and she helps him to find Nemo. They find Bruce and his gang and when Dory gets a nosebleed Bruce tries to eat Dory and Dory and Nemo’s Dad run away.
S	At the end Nemo after Nemo has been found lots of fish and Nemo get trapped in a net when they all swim down and break free.

This is me and Thomas work that Mrs Kirk Patrick set for us, we had to use tops about what happen in the movie. Me and Thomas did Finding Nemo and up top is were another animation.

This is our graph and room 7 all made one. And the highs one was rugby and everybody chose a different one and we chose a sport Rugby,soccer,basketball,tennis,cricket,baseball and hockey and my partner chose soccer and I chose rugby. 

All about me

My name is Tai and I am a year 6 and I am in room 7. This year I am really excited doing art and playing with my Chromebook.

Howick Historic village

On Thursday we went to Howick Historical Village. It was fun and the best toy was the little people climbing up the rope and we had to write with old pencils, it was easy. There were lots of old toys,  some toys were easy to use and some were hard. When we went to write the teacher had a stick. I learnt a lot about olden day schooling from my visit to the village. 

My speech reflection

My speech topic was rugby should be allowed at PBS.

My voice was a loud clear voice.

I stood relaxed.

The hardest part of speeches was to tell the full paragraph.

I am proud that I stood still.

Des Hunt visit

Des hunt came to visit us today. He used chemistry and physics to teach us about writing. He shared us some of the things he done when he was our age. I learnt that  chemistry was fun after all.
